Sussex Technical High School held induction ceremonies for the Spanish Honor Society May 12. Members must have completed three semesters of Spanish with a 93 percent and have maintained a 90 percent overall average. Members should have a genuine interest in the Latino culture and plan to utilize Spanish outside the classroom.
Once inducted, members must remain actively enrolled in Spanish class. Members must also volunteer 10 hours of community service during the school year directly benefiting the Latino community.
Following the induction ceremony, students hosted guests at a reception featuring Latino food they had prepared.
