A sweet day in Cape Henlopen State Park
The Friends of Cape Henlopen State Park held its 17th annual Chocolate Tasting in the Park, a fundraiser featuring chocolates and baked goods made by Friends members.
For $10, visitors received six tasting tickets. Proceeds benefited the Friends’ Thatcher Education Fund, which helps pay for under-resourced students to come and have access to the park and take part in environmental education. Nearly 40 volunteers made baked goods for the tasting.
Ryan Mavity covers Milton and the court system. He is married to Rachel Swick Mavity and has two kids, Alex and Jane.
