Team Harrington Raceway raises $30K for Dewey Goes Pink

Team Harrington Raceway and Casino won the highest fundraising team award Oct. 5 at the 13th Annual Dewey Goes Pink 5K, with nearly $30,000 raised to support the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition.

Team captain Deborah Webber headed a group of approximately 200 people that raised $29,540. The top three teams brought in more than $70,000, as Team Tay netted $24,692 and the Fenwick Fighters raised $15,830.

Donning pink in recognition of breast cancer awareness, thousands of runners/walkers raised a total of more than $300,000 in support of the cause.
