Teen volunteers to offer free gift wrapping at library Dec. 3, 6

November 29, 2025

Teen volunteers from the Lewes Public Library and Cape Henlopen High School’s National Honor Society chapter will offer free gift-wrapping sessions at the library this holiday season.

Aiming to help reduce holiday stress and expenses for community members, library staff members Mia Dorsch and Adrianna Kollar came up with the idea for That’s a Wrap! as a way for youth to earn meaningful service hours.

Free and open to all community members of all ages, gift-wrapping sessions will be held from 4 to 6 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 3, and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 6, at the library, 111 Adams Ave., Lewes.

Gifts will be wrapped while patrons wait. Attendees are asked to bring their own boxes for gifts that require them. All other supplies will be provided, including paper, tissue, bows and gift bags.

Library membership is not required.
