Thankful Thursday to benefit Parkinson’s group July 21
The Parkinson’s Education and Support Group of Sussex County will be the beneficiary of Thankful Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m., July 21, at Revelation Beer Gardens at Hudson Fields.
Guests can grab a bite to eat from the Tipsy Flamingo or Fat Vinny’s food trucks while listening to the music of Scott DiNolfi. Revelation Craft Brewery will have beer as well as water and sodas available for purchase. Pets are welcome provided they are on a leash. Attendees may bring their own chairs or sit at one of the tables in the hangar area.
The support group will have a number of unique baskets to raffle off that evening. Several local organizations will also be present to provide information on the services they provide for community residents. This family-friendly event is free to the public; however, the support group will be accepting donations. All money raised at Thankful Thursday will be used to continue the group’s educational and exercise programs.
The Parkinson’s Education and Support Group of Sussex County is a nonprofit organization that provides educational seminars, a variety of exercise classes, and several support group settings where members share ideas and seek solutions to issues they may be facing.
