Thanks to Insurance Commissioner Navarro

October 26, 2017

I am writing to publicly thank the Delaware State Insurance Department. Commissioner Trinidad Navarro and his staff corrected a problem I had been having with my health insurance provider. Briefly, my policy was terminated due to an accounting error on the part of said insurance provider. Over the course of 18 months I initiated several communications trying to rectify their accounting error, but alas, my efforts fell upon deaf ears. Upon receiving the insurance termination letter I knew I needed the help of the State Insurance Department. I contacted Deputy Commissioner Mitch Crane, and within hours of his intervention I received a telephone call from a competent representative of the insurance company (complete with her full name and direct telephone number) who rectified said accounting error and reversed my termination status. Trinidad Navarro and his staff did for me what I could not do on my own. My thanks again to the Delaware State Insurance Department which is there for all of us when we are in need, ensuring that we receive the coverage and service we pay for and hence, are rightfully entitled to.
