Nate Willard of Lewes captured a snow-covered Cape Henlopen from the window of his airline flight to the Philadelphia airport mid-morning Saturday. The crooked line in the bay is the inner breakwater wall.

Humans aren’t the only ones who enjoyed the snow day. The deer at Cape Henlopen State Park in Lewes were also out and about in this photo from Margaret Porter.

Michael J. Taylor sent us this absolutely gorgeous photo from this morning. “I was on my way to the State park to photograph wildlife with this morning's snow flurries, looked out back and captured this bluejay enjoying a wintry treat,” he said.

Susan Vinzant’s grandson William Cooper, 4, recently moved to Milton from Georgia. She said this was his first real snow experience.
