Thomas Warren Pugh, enjoyed his family
Thomas Warren Pugh, 78, of Martinsburg, W.Va., passed away Monday, September 5, 2016, at the Hospice of the Panhandle Inpatient Facility.
Born April 9, 1938, in Wheeling, W.V a.,he was the son of the late Warren "Nookie" and Mary Morris Pugh.
He was a graduate of Wheeling High School and Frostburg State University. He also attended Potomac State College. He had served in the U.S. Air Force.
He had been employed with the U.S. Post Office, Kelly Springfield Tire Company, and retired from Defense Investigative Service.
Tom enjoyed spending time with his family and his "extended family" at Les's Garage in Martinsburg.
He is survived by his wife, Nina Yontz Pugh; daughter, Pamela Pugh Graves and husband Brett of Lewes; stepson Aaron Toms and wife Amy of Frederick, Md.; one grandson, Seth Graves; three stepgrandchildren, Christopher Shewbridge, Larry Toms and Eliza Shewbridge; a brother David Pugh; and a host of nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by stepdaughter Kelly Shewbridge; brother Robert Pugh; and sister-in-law Mary Alice Pugh.
Memorial service will be held Saturday, Sept. 10, at 3:30 p.m., at Brown Funeral Home. Family will receive friends two hours before the service from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Hospice of the Panhandle, 330 Hospice Lane, Kearneysville, WV 25430.
