Top Chef event rescheduled for 2021

Meals on Wheels Lewes-Rehoboth benefit reset to May 13
May 23, 2020

Over the past five years, the annual Top Chef of the Culinary Coast event to benefit Meals on Wheels Lewes-Rehoboth has become the go-to party for generous restaurants and chefs along with hungry participants.

Guests receive exclusive samplings from more than 20 of the Cape Region's top chefs along with drink tickets and the chance to vote for their favorite chef in several whimsical categories.

The generosity of most Cape Region restaurants knows no bounds, and a ticket to the event grants access to the best and most creative. Participants stroll, taste, sip a little wine and taste some more. They quaff a brew (or two) and taste yet again. Then they vote for their favorite – all while helping to provide nourishing meals to homebound seniors in Rehoboth, Lewes and Harbeson.

The sixth annual gala was originally scheduled for Thursday, May 28, but it had to be rescheduled for Thursday, May 13, 2021. Many tickets had already been purchased, and those who booked early may request a refund or simply apply their purchase to the 2021 event. Of course, donations to this worthy cause are always welcome.

All are invited to join the generous sponsors, chefs, restaurants, producers and benefactors in 2021 for a scrumptious battle to benefit a worthy cause. Who will win? Local homebound neighbors and seniors will, for sure. The rest is up to the guests to decide Thursday, May 13.
