Tracy E. Tyndall, Megee service manager
Tracy E. Tyndall, 48, of Milton, passed away suddenly Sunday, March 15, 2015, at home.
Tracy was employed with Megee Motors in Georgetown for over 20 years. He began working as an assistant, working his way up to service manager.
He loved spending time with his family, hanging out with his friends, traveling, cooking and baking, grocery shopping, shoes and sports. He enjoyed Thrashers Boardwalk Fries and was a fan of basketball teams Duke and Boston Celtics, NASCAR’s Tony Stewart, the Baltimore Orioles and Atlanta Braves, and especially Late Model Racing and the KPR #38. His family shared that he loved ice cream and could bake a mean cake. His memberships included Bethesda U.M. Church in Georgetown and Moose Lodge 646 in Lewes.
He is preceded in death by his father: Willard E. Tyndall; paternal grandparents: Lloyd and Lottie Tyndall; and maternal grandparents: William and Hilda Pettyjohn.
He is survived by his fiancée, Kelly Conaway; his mother, Helen “Jeannie” Brittingham and stepfather Russell of Milford; two daughters, Taylor Morgan Tyndall and Sommer Paige Tyndall, both of Georgetown; a brother, Bill Tyndall and wife Susan; a nephew, Hunter Tyndall; and a niece, Kristine Davis, all of Milton; stepbrother, Robert Brittingham of Florida; stepsisters, Corrine Batista, also of Florida, Vicki Ingram of Ellendale, and Deanna Walker of Laurel; several aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends; and his four-legged kids, Mollie and Sadie.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, March 19, at 1 p.m., in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal St., Milton, with visitation Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Milton.
In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to any local branch of PNC Bank for a Trust being established for the future college expenses of his daughters.
