UNICO awards $1,000 to Lighthouse for Broken Wings

The Ralph Torraco Food Bank and Shelters Fund, a UNICO National program, grants $30,000 annually to 20-25 nonprofit organizations which provide food and/or shelter to residents needing assistance throughout the United States.
In past years, this fund has awarded grants of $1,000 to $2,000 to local Delaware shelters such as the Sister Rosa Alvarez Gardenia House, Georgetown; Immanuel Shelter, Rehoboth Beach; and recently Lighthouse for Broken Wings, Rehoboth Beach.
Applications are available on the UNICO National website, unico.org.
