UNICO sets bocce tournament May 13

Members of the Delmarva Chapter of UNICO National met at the home of John and Connie Subelka in Lewes to form committees and finalize plans for the Fourth Annual Bocce Tournament to be held from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, May 13, at Dogfish Head Craft Brewery in Milton. The rain date will be Saturday, May 20.

The entry fee will be $40 per team. Only 16 teams of 2-4 people will be accepted. One-half of the proceeds will be divided (60 percent-40 percent) between the top two teams; the remainder will be used for administrative purposes, and donations to local and national charities.

There will also be a 50/50 raffle and a selection of items donated by members and local businesses. Beverages including beer and wine, and homemade baked goods will be for sale. No outside food or drinks will be allowed at the event. Attendees should bring lawn chairs.
