Begun in 1844, Wesley Camp is the oldest camp meeting still in existence in Delaware. The roots of Wesley Camp are steeped in history, beginning with families in horse-drawn wagons gathering in a circle for worship with a podium at the center for the preacher.

“While a few things have changed since then, the mission has remained the same – to hear the word of God, be revived, lead the lost to Christ, and fellowship one with another,” organizers said. “Come experience this wonderful celebration under the bower at Wesley Camp.”

The address is 32127 Powell Farm Road, Frankford. For more information and a complete schedule of events, call 302-539-8335.
