U.S. Air Force veteran Mike Soules and family become new franchisees of local Jiffy Lube

Jiffy Lube International, the pioneer of the quick lube industry, recently announced that U.S. Air Force veteran and 12-year employee Mike Soules and his wife, Sally, are now first-time franchisees. The Soules purchased the operations of an existing Jiffy Lube service center at 34680 Jiffy Way in Lewes. The management team includes daughters Kim Soules and Erin Rivera as well as son-in-law Jovan Rivera.

Soules joined the Jiffy Lube team 12 years ago as a service center manager in Dover.   He then moved to the Lewes Jiffy Lube, where he has been at the management helm for the past nine years. Soules began his career in the U.S. Air Force, working two decades as an aircraft mechanic. He managed the Air Force Base Self Help Program supervising facility renovations, and his tenure also included a ranking of top five in the nation as an Air Force recruiter. Upon his retirement from the Air Force, Soules worked for World Airlines prior to joining Jiffy Lube. Sally has been with BayHealth Kent General for the past 17 years, managing administrative duties in the emergency room as well as in the health information department.
