U.S. Navy The Commodores concert moved to Cape High

August 13, 2019

Due to the storms forecast for this afternoon and evening, tonight’s concert with the U.S. Navy The Commodores will be held inside at Cape Henlopen High School, 1250 Kings Highway.

The concert starts at 7 p.m. The Commodores were originally scheduled for June 11, but needed to switch dates with Country Current due to tour duty conflicts.

Reminder that food, drinks and pets are not allowed inside the theater.

The Commodores are the Navy’s premier jazz ensemble and have been performing the very best of big band jazz for more than 40 years. As a versatile and relevant musical organization, the Commodores write and arrange much of their vast library of music. Their concerts are an eclectic mix of traditional big band music, exciting jazz vocal arrangements as well as fresh new instrumental music written specifically for the Commodores of today.
