Wayne Newton concert rescheduled for March 1

The Rehoboth Beach appearance of legendary Las Vegas icon Wayne Newton is being rescheduled. Originally slated for Tuesday, Aug. 29, in the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center, the new date will be Friday, March 1.

Bob Rothermel with T.E.A.M. Productions said, "Unfortunately, because of unforeseen circumstances, several of Mr. Newton's tour stops have to be rescheduled, and Rehoboth Beach was one of them. I have been in contact with his management company and while he is upset that he could not be here this summer, he is equally excited to announce his return engagement on Friday, March 1, 2024. I have also spoken with Dan Gaffney, and he will also return to open the show with his signature Mind Mysteries performance."

Refunds for the Aug. 29 show will be handled through etix.com. Tickets for the March 1 performance will go on sale soon.
