We love the park as it is

November 29, 2022

My wife and I live in Lewes and have lifetime passes to use the state parks. We have walked many of the trails; our favorite is walking the “bridge” from Lewes to Rehoboth. Our grandchildren have gone to the day camps when they were young.

We owned the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory franchise on Second Street in Lewes, and donated foil-wrapped chocolate lady bugs to the park when it was holding training sessions for new recruits for the summer. We also donated sugar-free chocolates when the park had its chocolate tasting events.

We know, support and love the park ... as it is. It does not need a restaurant. There are enough restaurants within walking/driving distance of the park to satisfy everyone!

There is also the matter of violating the Warner Land Trust Grant!
