Weis Markets celebrates customer’s 100th birthday

Marie Williams has enjoyed shopping at Weis Markets in Five Points, Lewes, for the past five years. She has made several friends among both employees and customers during her grocery shopping outings, and they greet and talk to her each week.

Store Manager Steve Rayburn wanted to help celebrate this 100th birthday milestone for Marie, and Darlene Land and Sam Rosado took the lead on organizing her special event. Employees across the entire store took time to come celebrate Marie with a cake, balloons, hugs and many happy birthday wishes. Marie and her family greatly appreciate Weis Markets and offer many thanks for making her birthday feel extra special.
