William Harvey Hazzard Sr., Allen Harim employee

Mr. William Harvey Hazzard Sr., 55, kindly known as “Billy,” of Seaford passed away Thursday, May 7, 2020.  

He was born Dec. 31, 1964, in Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, Md., to the late Anne Pollitt DeShields and Harvey Hazzard.

William was employed by Allen Harim in Harbeson for the past 11 years.

He leaves behind his wife Zina Hazzard of Seaford; his son, William H. Hazzard Jr. of Salisbury, Md.; two stepchildren Damian Johnson of Seaford and Rachel Bratten of Cambridge, Md.; two stepgrandchildren Zalah Mumford of Seaford and Casey Williams of Milford; a brother, Keith DeShields of Fruitland, Md.; and a sister, Janet Mollock of Fruitland. William also leaves behind two sisters-in-law, Eunice Hopkins of Seaford and Linda Woods (Roland) of Dover; and two brothers-in-law, Rogelio Ochoa of Frankford and Darrell Mumford of Baltimore, Md., as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and many friends.

Due to the coronavirus and the state of emergency, services will be private at this time.   A memorial service will be held at a later date.
