Women’s Council of Realtors installs new officers
The Women’s Council of Realtors in Sussex County installed a new slate of officers for 2026 at a gala dinner at the Boardwalk Plaza Hotel in Rehoboth Beach Dec. 2.
President ErinAnn Beebe handed over the reins to Tracy Peoples for 2026 but not before Beebe gave the state of the council. She said the council is now up to 69 members and experienced some late success in 2025 with the return of Bras For A Cause, which helped raise $10,000. Beebe said the council is donating $5,500 of that money to the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition.
Ryan Mavity covers Milton and the court system. He is married to Rachel Swick Mavity and has two kids, Alex and Jane. Ryan started with the Cape Gazette all the way back in February 2007, previously covering the City of Rehoboth Beach. A native of Easton, Md. and graduate of Towson University, Ryan enjoys watching the Baltimore Ravens, Washington Capitals and Baltimore Orioles in his spare time.
