A free reception for Fest Art 2026 will be held from 3 to 5 p.m., April 9, at CAMP Rehoboth Community Center, 37 Baltimore Ave., Rehoboth Beach. This vibrant showcase will honor artistic expression across all media while embracing art and artists that embody and celebrate the feminine spirit.
In the same venue at 4 p.m., guests may enjoy a free a cappella performance by the newest CAMP Rehoboth Chorus ensemble, WomenKind.
A free pop-up Sapphic Bookstore will be open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Friday, April 10, at CAMP Rehoboth. This event is hosted by a co-op of authors across publishers and genres. Their aim is to sell books directly to readers while increasing the awareness of sapphic literature along the way.
The Women’s Fest Expo will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, April 11, at the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center, 229 Rehoboth Ave., where vendors will offer dozens of products, services and educational resources. Original art and one-of-a-kind crafts will include paintings, jewelry, apparel, wood carvings, stained glass, garden decor and pride merchandise. Community organizations and service providers will offer resources for women’s health, cancer prevention and LGBTQ+ support. Also participating will be groups offering information on elder care and family services.
A State of the LGBTQ+ Military Union Town Hall, presented by Ashley Carothers, former executive director of the Modern Military Association of America, is set for 3 p.m., Saturday, at CAMP Rehoboth. Carothers holds deep expertise in LGBTQ+ veteran affairs topics resulting from her recent assignment in the Department of Veterans Affairs leading the Center for Minority Veterans LGBTQ+ policy initiative. Carothers will cover current policy developments affecting LGBTQ+ service members and veterans, including recent changes within the Department of Veterans Affairs, ongoing challenges facing the community, and emerging advocacy priorities at the federal and state levels. Admission is free, but registration is required at camprehoboth.org/womensfest.
