Worcester Prep students send written thanks to veterans

Worcester Prep fifth-grader Liam Doran of Seaford puts the finishing touches on his email to a veteran expressing thanks for their service.
Worcester Preparatory School lower school technology teacher Julie Lyons recently worked with students in fourth and fifth grades to write letters to veterans thanking them for their service. Students learned how to write proper and professional emails by practicing format and inserting images. In the end, 63 veterans received mailed letters and 26 veterans received emails.
