Worcester Prep wins five fall titles

Cross country was a new addition to the WPS fall sports lineup last year. This year an ESIAC championship was added to the conference. Five Worcester Prep teams won Eastern Shore Independent Athletic Conference championships this fall, including field hockey, girls’ and boys’ soccer and girls’ and boys’ cross country. The Mallards’ field hockey team beat reigning champions Holly Grove 1-0.
Boys’ soccer beat Holly Grove 3-1. Girls’ soccer beat Sts. Peter and Paul 2-1. Both girls’ and boys’ cross country topped their competition to capture their ESIAC crowns.
The seven schools in the ESIAC Conference include Worcester Prep, Delmarva Christian, Gunston, Holly Grove, Salisbury Christian, The Salisbury School and Sts. Peter and Paul.
