WSFS Long Neck branch reopens
At WSFS Bank, the health, well-being and safety of its customers and associates is a top priority. On April 29, an associate from the WSFS Long Neck branch, 25926 Plaza Drive, Millsboro, notified the bank that they had tested positive for COVID-19. The associate had not been at the branch since April 23.
For the safety of customers and associates, a new work schedule had already been implemented for frontline associates to work four days on and four days off, limiting exposure to the public. While the associate may only have been in contact with customers via drive-through service, WSFS is communicating to those who were in proximity to the affected individual. The location has been electrostatically cleaned and sanitized, and was set to reopen May 4 with new staff.
WSFS continues to follow the recommendations of the CDC and other government authorities to protect associates and customers during these uncertain times. To provide a safe and healthy banking environment, WSFS is committed to doing its part so associates, customers and community members remain healthy and safe, while providing essential banking services to all it serves.
