WSFS Bank and Delaware Humane Association recently partnered to encourage pet adoption. WSFS Bank pledged to donate $100 for every pet adoption, up to $5,000. Within just 13 days, the campaign reached its goal. Some 34 cats and 16 dogs were adopted, achieving the donation total of $5,000.

WSFS has been a proud supporter of DHA and its efforts over the years. Patrick Carroll, DHA executive director, said, "We are so incredibly grateful for our good friends at WSFS Bank. Whenever I interact with their associates, it’s clear that WSFS is a company of animal lovers and a company committed to serving the community."

“WSFS is proud to support the Delaware Humane Association,” said Peggy H. Eddens, executive vice president and chief human capital officer, and current president of DHA’s Board of Directors. "We recognize the importance of providing shelter and for matchmaking cats and dogs with their friends for life. Caring for animals is fundamental to a healthy community.”

To adopt a friend for life, stop into the DHA. The DHA is open in Wilmington from 2 to 7 p.m., Tuesday through Friday, and from 12 to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. For more information, go to www.delawarehumane.org.
