Xi Sigma Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi names new officers

The Xi Sigma Chapter of the International Sorority of Beta Sigma Phi announced its officers for the 2025-26 service year are Barbara Catts, president; Kris Pritchett, vice president; Lorraine Cintron, recording secretary; Linda Bolt, corresponding secretary; and Ann Wotring, treasurer.

Chapter members are dedicated to the fundamentals of Beta Sigma Phi: friendship, education and service to their community. People’s Place of Milford has been selected as the beneficiary of the chapter’s main service project. Each year, the group chooses a charity to benefit from its ways and means project and other donations.

A multi-service 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, People’s Place is dedicated to helping people find their paths to growth and independence. It provides a variety of services to families, adults and children of lower Delaware. Programs are focused on counseling, education, prevention, intervention, support services and advocacy.

The chapter also plans to donate items monthly to the food ministry at Epworth United Methodist Church.
