Yes2Health 12-week program to start in Rehoboth March 3
The Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition will sponsor Yes2Health sessions in Rehoboth Beach and Lewes.
The program will feature 12 weekly walking meet-ups and biweekly education programs including fitness, health and wellness topics.
The sessions will establish a safe, nurturing, supportive environment for interested women and men who are struggling with health issues that put them at risk for developing breast cancer and/or other chronic illness.
The target audience for the program is women and men age 40 and over at risk for breast cancer and/or with at least one of the following: hypertension, high cholesterol, diabetes or a body mass index of 30 or above.
Weekly sessions will take place from 1 to 2:30 p.m., Tuesdays, March 3 to May 19, at the Cape Henlopen Senior Center, 11 Christian St., Rehoboth Beach; and from 9 to 10:30 a.m., Fridays, April 17 to July 3, at Lewes Senior Center, 32083 Janice Road, Lewes.
