2 Cities, 1 Goal — Improved Human, Animal and Environmental Health

June 3, 2018

My friend Bonnie is a Plant-Based Educator in the Mountains of Asheville, NC, as I am at the Beach in Lewes/Rehoboth, DE. Both of us are preparing for our city VegFests this next weekend, June 8-10, 2018. We are especially happy to share with others the challenge, excitement and energy we are experiencing this year.

The City of Asheville is leading the nation as first ever to proclaim a city-wide vegan challenge for 7 days. Pictured is the Mayor’s Proclamation and a link to Asheville’s official guide with nutritional information, delicious plant-based meal plan and recipes.

Also pictured is the Rehoboth Beach VegFest schedule of events which includes the Friday June 8, 7 pm showing of the life-changing film WHAT THE HEALTH and here is the Saturday, June 9 schedule at the Speakers’ Pavilion:

12       Andrea Jones – Cancer Survivor & Dr. Krista Griffin – Minds Over Matter

1         Laurie Elseroad – National Volunteer Coordinator, The Humane League

2         Hari Cameron – Chef and Owner, grandpa (MAC) and a(muse)

Wherever you are—in the mountains or at the beach—get yourself to a VEGFEST and celebrate the possibilities of improved health for all!
