It may be a while before we enjoy a daytime high temperature near 80 degrees so when the afternoon warmed up to 78 today, and high wispy clouds filled the sky I thought shooting sunset was just the thing to do. The colors in the sky didn't dazzle tonight but it was a real pleasure being out on the sand flats with thousands of snails in what may well be the last summer-like warmth of the year.

Tony Pratt is the administrator of the Shoreline and Waterway Management Section of Delaware’s Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control. He is a scientist and naturalist, well versed in nature study.
Pratt is a lifelong photographer who has worked closely with Kevin Fleming since 2007. His interests in photography range from wildlife and landscapes to portraiture work.
