Glorious Fourth
Lawn chairs, parades, grilling meat, sparklers, big boom. We tend to get off track and just celebrate the holidays we are given. I am pretty sure we all know July 4th is a celebration of our declared independence from the British. But unless we remember the reason for the season it could turn into just another holiday that some of us work and some of us play.
The Red White and Blue is definitely the primary player in the scene, and that's cool because it is very graphic and makes it easy to bring an ordinary scene to life in a photograph. I love to strategically place a flag in any scene, any time, any place. Look around and try it for yourself.
I present Red & White with Green. A lush bed of Gooseneck Loosestrife shares the scene with our American icon, we know the blue and white stars are there, we don't need to see them. And if I want to get a little political, "Come on government lets make it easier to be green America is already there."
