New Home or Used Home- Getting What You Want

Capstone
August 17, 2011

The picture in this post tells the story.  This is the home built by Capstone Homes in Holland Mills on Lot 52.

This Delaware new home is a great example of the choice of someone buying a new home vs. a used home.  The purchasers on Lot 52 were able to get exactly what they wanted in their retirement home.

The home that is pictured isn't on of the floorplans offered by Capstone Homes in Holland Mills.  If fact, it isn't really like any of the plans built by Capstone in any Capstone community.  It's a plan that the owners brought in- scribbled on a piece of paper with a bunch of notes.

Now, about six months after they first viewed a Delaware beach home in Holland Mills, they are living in their new home.  It is a completely custom floorplan, and it is exactly what they wanted.

The home has single level living, a full basement, and a 13' garage ceiling to accommodate a car lift.  It has a huge rear porch to take advantage of the wooded lot in Holland Mills.  It has a large room on the main level for a pool table.  The basement offers a tremendous amount of storage.

The home is build to save money in the long run- with a geothermal HVAC system that will save thousands over the years in energy bills.

Capstone Homes was happy to walk through numerous drafts of the plan, and Capstone Homes was able to deliver the dream home for our customers- within their budget.

New home or used home- a new home gives you the opportunity to build exactly what you want in a home.  Capstone Homes was able to deliver dreams- a true custom home, but there was no custom home price.
