The Point

One day in February when it was warm and before they closed The Point at Cape Henlopen State Park for the health and welfare of the piping plovers, I took a walk around it. It’s not that far but when you walk against the wind and on sand, it can take a while. 

I love the sandbars that are created on our bay beaches. This one looked like a moat around the Delaware Breakwater Lighthouse, and the water was rushing in and causing ripples.
