Back to school means buying school-prepared lunches for many children.  Whats's on that lunch tray? What are the choices?  Too many school lunches are packed with fats, sugar and cholesterol and lacking in the vital nutrients from fruits, vegetables, beans and whole grains that lead to healthy kids and eager students.  "Smart students need smart foods," according to the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine and they are ready with resources for parents, schools and dietitians to help schools boost school lunches so everyone gets an A+!

You can access resources and other health-promoting information at HealthySchoolLunches.org.
