Java Jukebox announces grand opening June 1

Comedy shows set July 2, 3
May 24, 2016

For the best jolt of java with trendy music a la mode, Java Jukebox is set to open by Wednesday, June 1 in downtown Rehoboth Beach.

At the top of Rehoboth Avenue in Henlopen Square at 37169 Rehoboth Ave. Ext., No. 9, the establishment is owned by local favorite DJ Nan and her wife and event planner Kris Martino. The two migrated to Rehoboth from the Washington, D.C. area five years ago and immediately brought the community to its feet with DJ Nan’s constant beat of popular tunes and exciting events.

"Kris and I are very excited to start off on our new adventure, Java Jukebox," says co-owner and DJ Nan Martino. “The jukebox is a coffee lounge by day, event venue by night and provides an in-town private rental facility for up to 150 people."

Java Jukebox will feature a full coffee and tea bar with breakfast and lunch menu delectables as well as an event hall and lounge that seats 150. The event hall may be rented out for casual as well as special events, or as is the case over the Fourth of July weekend, will feature Java’s own headline entertainers.

Tickets are on sale now for comedienne Suzanne Westenhoefer, who is celebrating 25 years of groundbreaking, no-holds-barred comedy and will appear at Java Jukebox Saturday, July 2, and Sunday, July 3. For more information, go to www.javajukebox.net or call 302-440-JAVA (5282).
