Herb Muktarian made the image of this snowy egret on Rehoboth Bay from his pontoon boat, bobbing at anchor near the island across from Massey’s Landing in Long Neck. “This particular egret casually sauntered along the marshy edge of the island toward our boat before strolling back the other direction and elegantly flying off,” he said.
