Diane Ahrens Leitch, loved the beach

Diane Ahrens Leitch, 71, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2017, to be with the Lord.
Born Nov. 7, 1945, Diane lived much of her younger life in Baltimore, Md., raising her children.
In 1991, she followed her dream to live at the beach and moved to Lewes. She worked for many years as Fisherman's Wharf's bookkeeper, but was also widely known for her work and dedication to the Community Thanksgiving Dinner at Epworth United Methodist Church in Rehoboth Beach.
In years to follow, her children, whom she loved unconditionally, joined her in the area.
Diane was known by many and loved by all. She will be greatly missed and remembered by all who knew her.
Per her request, a service will be held at a later date in summer of 2017, which will, of course, will be held on the beach!

If desired, memorial donations may be made to Delaware Hospice where Diane received the most tender loving care at the end of her life.
