Sussex Conservation District sets workgroup meeting March 23

The Sussex Conservation District announced a local workgroup meeting set for 9 a.m., Thursday, March 23, at the USDA Agriculture Service Center in Georgetown, There will be discussion of current U.S. Department of Agriculture Farm Bill Programs that are administered by the Natural Resources Conservation Service, as well as the local conservation needs and resource concerns in Sussex County to be considered for inclusion in programs in the future. 

The outcomes of this meeting will be included in the discussion at the State Technical Committee meeting this spring. The address is 21315 Berlin Road in Georgetown.
