Freshman Owen Dorman raises funds for Cape Henlopen Food Basket

Cape Henlopen High School freshman Owen Dorman donated $530 to the Cape Henlopen Food Basket. John DeVoll, food basket president, took Dorman and his mother Stephanie Faust on a tour and explained how the organization helps over 200 families a month in need of food assistance.
To raise the funds, Dorman sold 53 prints of an original photograph he took of the Lewes-Rehoboth Canal. He donated 100 percent of the money to the Cape Henlopen Food Basket to help families in his school district.
Dorman extends thanks to Faust Sheet Metal, Dave Marshall Tennis Academy and The Brush Factory on Kings for letting people pick up his prints at their businesses.
