National pet adoption tour stops at Rehoboth Beach PetSmart

The goal of the Tour for Life is to adopt as many dogs and cats as possible.

Ben and Jason Lawrence of Georgetown have just adopted two-month-old Renee. More than 40 dogs and cats were up for adoption during the tour stop.

PetSmart in Rehoboth Beach hosted a stop by the Brandywine Valley SPCA Tour for Life March 10 at the store along Route 1. The largest national adoption drive will visit 50 cities in 37 states. The local PetSmart has had more than 40 adoptions over the past month.
