Jack Lingo Realtor welcomes new agents

Jack Lingo Realtor, with offices in Rehoboth Beach, Lewes and Millsboro, welcomes four new agents to its Rehoboth Beach and Millsboro offices.

Jason Abela, Realtor, is a member of the Ava Cannon Team alongside fellow agents Ava Cannon and Caitlin McCarron. He began to visit the Delaware beaches while living in central Pennsylvania. It didn’t take him long to fall in love with the charm of Rehoboth Beach and, in 2015, he decided to make the town his permanent home. Upon becoming a full-time resident, he immediately immersed himself in the community both as a volunteer at his church and as a director of his neighborhood homeowners association.

Before moving to Delaware, Abela served the former governor of Pennsylvania as legislative liaison for the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection. In that role, he was responsible for managing relationships with members of the Pennsylvania General Assembly as well as advocating for environmental legislation. He is a native of Michigan and graduated from Western Michigan University. He enjoys running and biking through Rehoboth Beach’s vast network of trails, spending time with his family and dogs, and gardening. He is always eager to help his clients realize their vacation home dreams.

Chuck Litchford, Realtor, was born and raised in Delaware, and currently owns and manages several properties in his home state. A graduate of Delaware Tech’s Entrepreneurship Program, he maintains close ties to his alma mater by participating in many on-campus events.

He is extremely active in Sussex County, holding memberships with the Cape Henlopen Elks, the Coastal Corvette Club of Delaware and the Delaware State Sportsmen’s Association. Moreover, he enjoys involvement in several local philanthropic activities, including the Kent County Community School holiday toy drive for children in need. In his free time, Litchford enjoys traveling in an RV, being in the outdoors and  most of all, spending time with his family. His real estate philosophy is simple: It is the job of the Realtor to locate the best property for each buyer, as well as to optimize the property sale for each seller. In Litchford’s view, both the buying and selling processes should be conducted as simply and straightforwardly as possible.

Sue Carpenter, Realtor, loves Sussex County, and she is eager to help her clients make the move. Whether people prefer the area’s beautiful beaches, endless fields or numerous estuaries, there is no other place that can match the sheer beauty of southern Delaware.

After living and working in Philadelphia and New Jersey for much of her life, Carpenter finally decided it was time to live year-round in the place that suited her best. With three grown children and nine grandchildren, she and her family enjoy taking advantage of all the wonderful opportunities the area has to offer. Water sports, kite festivals, fishing, crabbing, art festivals, ferry rides, and museums are just a few of the exciting local activities from which to choose.

Carpenter has always been 100 percent client-oriented throughout her career, seeking opportunities to help them toward their goals. In the greater Philadelphia area, she worked at Merrill Lynch and UBS, helping to identify and meet financial goals. In New Jersey, she practiced law in estates/trust, again focusing on clients’ needs. Now in Sussex County, Carpenter is helping many find new places to live.

Born and raised in the Annapolis, Md., area, Caitlin McCarron, Realtor, has both a significant personal history in and strong familial ties to the First State. She used to spend every summer in Sussex County, and after graduating from Radford University, chose to make Rehoboth Beach her home.

McCarron’s years of experience in the Bethany Beach and Dewey Beach restaurant industries have greatly enhanced her understanding of the ebbs and flows of Delaware’s resort areas. Her additional experiences working with a local developer have not only enriched her knowledge of new construction and home pricing but also deepened her passion for the local real estate industry.  

McCarron will be working with the Ava Cannon Team alongside Ava Cannon and Jason Abela. Her primary goal in real estate is to ensure that all her buyers and sellers receive top-tier professional service and thus choose to remain her lifetime customers.
