Signal power boosted for WBOC Classics and Telemundo Delmarva
Draper Media announced the return of WBOC Classics, an Antenna TV affiliate, to full power on channel 16.2. Plus, Telemundo Delmarva is now broadcasting in high definition from a new antenna on channel 42.1, effective immediately.
“We completed extensive transmitter, antenna and tower work in order to bring back WBOC Classics on channel 16.2,” said Craig Jahelka, president, Draper Media. “You can now watch your favorite reruns free, over-the-air with an antenna anywhere you can see WBOC or FOX21.”
Jahelka said the work at the tower site near Laurel took more than six months to complete, and now also improves the free, over-the-air high-definition signal for Telemundo Delmarva, which is available on channel 42.1.
“Our viewers who watch with an antenna will need to rescan their televisions in order to view all of the channels,” said Jahelka.
WBOC Classics airs nostalgic TV shows like “Bewitched,” “I Dream of Jeannie,” “Welcome Back Kotter,” “Hazel” and “Johnny Carson.”
Telemundo is a world-class media company leading the industry in the production and distribution of high-quality Spanish-language content across its multiplatform portfolio to U.S. Hispanics and audiences around the world.
