Christian Hudson named Beebe Medical Foundation chairman

The Beebe Medical Foundation announced Christian Hudson as new chairman of its board of directors, and thanked Tommy Cooper, owner of Cooper Realty Associates, as he ends his term Oct. 31, after serving six years as chair and nine years on the board.

“It’s been a labor of love. When I started on the foundation’s board nine years ago, the foundation was in transition, and I’m proud of how we’ve built it into a well-oiled operation that it is today,” Cooper said. “Christian Hudson has my utmost confidence. He has the intellect, character and maturity well beyond his age to guide and lead the foundation to the next level. I’m proud to be turning over the reins to someone who has great connections not only to Beebe Healthcare, but also to Sussex County through his heritage.”

Hudson, originally from Milton, joined the board in November 2015. He is co-owner of Hudson Management, a boutique family-owned investment company, with his brother Jamin Hudson. 



“I have big shoes to fill as the foundation’s chairman, following Tommy’s exemplary direction,” Hudson said. “Tommy’s leadership has been transformative, and I can only hope I do half the job that he has done. As we transition into the public phase of the I Believe in Beebe campaign of Beebe’s expansion, I am excited to continue to strengthen our community support and partnerships. Philanthropy is critical to Beebe’s future. I’m honored to be leading the board during this unique place in time in Beebe’s history.”

In addition, Ann Raskauskas, owner of Bethany Area Realty, and Dr. Lyndie Hertrich, former assistant principal of Lulu Ross Elementary in the Milford School District, will be joining the foundation’s board this November as William Berry and Dr. Mouhanad Freih end their terms.
