Southern Delaware Therapeutic Riding held its 3rd Annual Barn Dance Oct. 20. The sold-out event featured a barbecue dinner, drinks, a silent and live auction, live music and dancing. During the event, recent accomplishments were announced by board President Scott Swinlgle. The organization now has 160 riders and has given 1,000 lessons people who benefit from this therapy. They now have 10 horses and will be adding another instructor. They are also going ahead with plans to close off one end of the arena and install fire sprinklers.

Pit Master Hank Dorsey, of Whole Roast Barbecue Service, adds a little more of his special sauce to the roast chicken.
