Six new agents join Long & Foster in Rehoboth Beach
Carol Materniak, manager of Long & Foster Real Estate’s Rehoboth Beach and Lewes offices, announced the appointment of six new sales associates: Sam Duklewski, Mary Lucente, Michael McCormick, Patrick Nicholson, Jena Wilson and Richard Polite.
“We are so very excited and fortunate to have these fantastic agents joining Long & Foster,” said Materniak. “Both experienced and new agents recognize Long & Foster is a household name, bringing buyers to the Delaware beaches.”
Sam Duklewski grew up in Baltimore, attended Towson University as an undergraduate and earned his postgraduate degree from the Carey School of Business at Johns Hopkins University. He recently retired from Merck Consumer Care. Duklewski and his wife Toby moved to Rehoboth to be closer to family. He enjoys the real estate business since it allows him to work with people again, which he enjoyed so much during his career. After starting with another local broker, Duklewski determined Long & Foster was his place to be. He said, “I wanted to join a firm that has unmatched reputation in providing outstanding customer service in the Rehoboth Beach real estate market.”
Mary Lucente is a Certified Relocation Specialist and was a top producer in the Long & Foster Greenville office. Lucente was recognized for the Achiever Society Award for the past four years and received Philadelphia magazine’s Five Star Real Estate Agent award for three years in a row. Lucente is well versed in custom home construction and relocation, and she has specialized in working with first-time home buyers, as well as buyers and sellers in 55-and-older communities. When relocating to the Delware beaches, Lucente knew there was only one brokerage where she would continue her real estate career. Lucente has a nursing background with degrees from Pennsylvania Hospital and Temple University. She has four grown children and currently lives in Rehoboth Beach with her husband.
Michael McCormick said, “I work and live for the love of home.” A practiced negotiator and skilled house-hunter, he joins the Daniel Lusk team. Lusk is another Long & Foster agent with 16 years’ experience serving buyers and sellers in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area and Delaware resort area.
Patrick Nicholson brings more than 15 years of construction sales and service to the table. Negotiations and quick service with a stress-free transaction are his main goals. He has bought, renovated and sold numerous properties over the years for himself and knows how nice it can be to have a Realtor who listens and cares. He moved to the Eastern Shore to bring his wife and two daughters closer to the beach. Nicholson said, “I chose to be an agent at Long & Foster to learn and to work with great, experienced agents in an amazing beach market.”
Jena Wilson and Richard Polite are both part of The Delaware Group.
Wilson was born and raised in Kent County, and graduated from Saint Thomas More Academy in Magnolia. She attended Salisbury University for two years. Wilson comes from a background of real estate. Her parents own MMJ Properties which flips houses, and her grandparents were also agents. After spending time in college, she realized following in her family’s footsteps with a career in real estate would be a great fit for her.
After over a decade in sales, Polite has followed his passion to a career in real estate. He has lived in southern Delaware for nearly 20 years and enjoys spending time at the beach and the great restaurants throughout Delaware. Polite has traveled throughout the state visiting family and friends, and he is familiar with the amenities across Delaware. His passion for sales and helping people find the home of their dreams without compromising their needs makes him an excellent Realtor.
The Delaware Group collectively represents buyers and sellers in all of Delaware. Individually they are teachers, insurance agents and business professionals. Over the past years, its team members have represented investors, flippers, land purchasers, first-time home buyers, veterans, retirees, second-home buyers and sellers of all kinds.
