In September, Sposato Family Vineyards hosted its Third Annual Taste of Sposato Wine 5K. The event, held at the Sposato Landscape headquarters in Milton, raised funds for the Sposato Family Vineyards Scholarship Fund for agriculture students at Delaware Technical Community College.
Four Delaware Tech students have been awarded the scholarship since the fund was established in 2016: Amber Cluesman, Leah Morris, Caitlin Molnar and Jonathan Bernard.
Among the 113 race finishers were Dr. Mark Brainard, Delaware Tech president, and Dr. Bobbi Barends, vice president and campus director at Delaware Tech’s Owens Campus in Georgetown. Many Delaware Tech faculty, staff, administrators, and students supported the event by participating or attending.
