Rehoboth law oversight committee meeting set Jan. 2
The Rehoboth Beach Law Oversight Committee has scheduled a meeting for 10 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 2, in the commissioners room of city hall, 229 Rehoboth Ave. The agenda calls for a continued discussion of the tree ordinance. Rehoboth streets committee to meet Jan. 4
The Rehoboth Beach Streets and Transportation Committee has scheduled a meeting for 10 a.m., Friday, Jan. 4, in the commissioners room of city hall, 229 Rehoboth Ave. The agenda calls for continued discussion on a shuttle or trolley service, and a discussion on safe bike routes at the north end of the Boardwalk. DBP announces sixth annual Dewey Dunk Jan. 1
The Dewey Business Partnership will be sponsoring the sixth annual Dewey Dunk, a chilling jump into the Atlantic. The event will take place Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2019, at noon on Dagsworthy Avenue beach in Dewey Beach. Brave dunkers will take a dip into the Atlantic to show their support for the Dewey Business Partnership, which sponsors well-rounded family-friendly events and positive initiatives in Dewey Beach. Dunkers may register the day of the event on the beach at Dagsworthy beginning at 11:30 a.m.
The fee is $20 for adults and $10 for children under 12. Registration fee includes Dewey Dunk gear and hot chocolate! This is an all-ages event, rain or shine, and free parking.
