Salon Milton Fund Razor set Feb. 10

Proceeds benefit Milton Historical Society, Gladys Wilkins scholarship
February 4, 2019

Salon Milton will host its annual Fund Razor, a Valentine's bake sale and salon services fundraiser, from noon to 5 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 10. Participants may schedule an appointment for a haircut and blow dry provided by John Potocki, Richard Schulz or special guest stylist Roi Barnard for a suggested donation of $30. Proceeds will all be donated to the Milton Historical Society and the Gladys Wilkins Agricultural Fund.

Last year's event netted more than $6,000. During its existence, the Fund Razor has raised more than $31,000 for community organizations.

The silent auction is always a big hit at the event. This year, items will include Po’ Boys Creole food truck for 30, State Farm agent Jeanine O’Donnell’s annual gift basket, a $200 Bad Hair Day gift certificate and a gift basket from Aveda Corporation, among many, many more items.

Salon Milton owner John Potocki said he is especially excited for the return of Milton’s own gourmet chef Pat Grieninger, who will make and sell her delicious creations in the salon’s kitchen area.

Those in the know will be there early. There will be a 50/50 raffle, a silent auction, and gourmet creations.

Refreshments, including beverages donated by Oak Creek Liquors and Dogfish Head Craft Brewery, will be offered for sale all afternoon. For those who cannot attend but would like to make a contribution, a check can be mailed to Salon Milton, 517 Chestnut St., Milton, DE 19968. "Salon Fund Razor" should be written in the memo line.
