Bill Patterson to teach acrylic landscapes in Milton Feb. 20

Milton Arts Guild’s next Artful Touch class will be Landscapes in Acrylic with Bill Patterson, set for 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 20.

This class is designed to give participants great insights in creating a good landscape painting. Attendees will learn how to use the tools of composition, cropping, value and color to their advantage in order to make a masterpiece.

Brushes and paint will be supplied to create an 8"x10" painting on canvas.  

Patterson is a local landscape painter working in an impressionistic style. His goal is capturing unusual light, shadow and atmospheric conditions to evoke particular feelings and moods of a scene. He paints on location as well as from his photo references.
