New era of Del Tech baseball begins Feb. 17

The Delaware Technical Community College baseball season will begin a new era Sunday, Feb. 17, when the season kicks off with new head coach Stu Madden taking over from Curtis Brock, who retired after 30 years of coaching.

Delaware Tech competes in Region XIX of the National Junior College Athletic Association, and assisting Madden on the coaching staff are Mike DiCarlo and Bobby Betts.

The season begins Feb. 17 at Cecil Community College in North East, Md. Delaware Tech’s first home game is a doubleheader Saturday, Feb. 23, against Cumberland County College. There’s another home doubleheader Sunday, Feb. 24, against Rowan College at Gloucester County.
