March 2, 2020

Long & Foster Real Estate is proud to announce that 18 realtors from the Rehoboth Beach and Lewes offices have completed the real estate industry’s most comprehensive new home sales and residential construction courses.  The agents earned their national certification as both Certified New Home Specialist and Residential Construction Certified professionals.

With these certifications, the agents join a group dedicated to providing the highest level of professionalism and service to builders and new home buyers. These courses are recognized as some of the very best ever offered in real estate. The training covered architectural design and planning, blueprint reading, topography, building site design, evaluating quality construction, materials, methods, construction terminology and scheduling. A few of the topics also studied included successful buyer/builder relations, all aspects of customer service, and the use of various organizational tools and systems. The classes provided the agents with the expertise, strategies and tools to more professionally assist anyone interested in a new or existing home.

“I’m excited to have so many of my agents earn these certifications,” said Carol Materniak, managing broker of Long & Foster’s Lewes and Rehoboth Beach offices. “Knowledge is power, and I believe this training provided a foundation that allows our agents to communicate more confidently and professionally with buyers, sellers, appraisers, inspectors, lenders, designers, engineers and construction professionals. This expertise positions them to better help their customers make their best decisions.”

Long & Foster Real Estate is the nation’s No. 1 real estate company as part of HomeServices of America. For more information, go to www.LongandFoster.com.
